‘Focus’ Career fair on April 15,16,17

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Navanirman Vidhyarthi Sena (MNVS), the students wing of Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) has organised a three-day career fair “Focus” from April 15,16,17, at the Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, here.

It aims to provide the detailed information to aspirants about their future career and for their further studies and the proper guidance to the students to opt for the particular course. Speaking to Employment & NRI Times, Sudhakar Tamboli, vice president of MNVS said, “This is the first of its kind by any political party directly organising the fair. Our intention is to help students and give them proper guidance in which field he/she wants to build his/her career.”

“We have come across many problems faced by the students. After they complete their school they don’t know what to do further and which are the area they can pursue further for better future, keeping this in mind we came with an idea to organise a career fair where students can have a direct access to experts and professionals of their related fields and can clarify their doubts if any” Sudhakar adds.

The fair will also have seminars on the subject such as Journalism, with experts speaking on the subjects. Professional from many fields, such as, Nitin Vaidya from Zee TV, Kumar Ketkar of Lok Satta, Raju Salve, Event Management Consultant, Vijay Savant animator and one of the creators of Hanuman and Vijay Raut of New Media will enlighten students on their respective fields.

The Focus career fair will have 72 stalls, providing information of various career options, including, agriculture, aviation, beauty and care, fitness management, radio jockey,
research and development, event management, film production, fashion designing, sound recording, hospitality industry, photography, media planning, retail management
animation, IT industry, management and many more.

More than 40,000 students are expected to attend the fair. Students can also accompany their parents to the fair. Entry to career fair is free.
